## What STOCut is

STOCut is browser-based 2D nesting and cutting-plan software. STOCut targets workshops that cut rectangular parts from sheet stock (timber, MDF, laminate, stone, metal, plastic).

## Problem STOCut solves

Generic nesting tools optimise on blank catalogue sheets. STOCut nests on rack stock and remnants, uses finished edges already on the slab, and writes leftovers back to a searchable warehouse so offcuts are not lost between jobs.

## Core features

- Warehouse catalogue: CSV or Excel import, full ERP product names, stock codes, edge codes per side (F/B/L/R)
- Nest on real stock and remnants; material groups; auto-rotate; edge-aware placement
- Layout grouping (identical sheets as Layout A x qty); job totals incl. edge-banding metres
- Complete job: preview nest, deduct stock, save remnants, reprint saved layouts
- Branded print/PDF - job ref and customer at top, your logo, company name in print footer; bespoke after-cut list
- Exports: CSV cut list, buy list, parts, Excel-friendly sheets, simple DXF rectangles
- Linear bar/trim cutting in the same app
- Runs in browser on PC or Mac; no install
